The Parivahan Vibhag has recently invited online registrations for High Security Number Plate (HSRP) for both private and commercial vehicles in 2024. Interested candidates can apply online for HSRP registration. Please read the full notification before applying.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Vehicles Eligible:
If you own any two-wheeler, four-wheeler, or other heavy motor vehicle, you are eligible to apply for a new HSRP number plate issued by the Transport Department. - Mandatory:
HSRP plates are mandatory for all private cars and taxi vehicles.
Benefits of HSRP:
- Plate Benefit:
The biggest advantage of HSRP is its security features. It is installed in a special manner, making it difficult to tamper with. This reduces the chances of vehicle theft significantly. - Sticker Benefit:
Along with the number plate, you will receive a sticker for your four-wheeler or heavy motor vehicle. This sticker will contain:- Name of the registration authority
- Vehicle registration number
- Permanent identification number of the brand
- Date of first registration
How to Book HSRP:

- Engine number
- Chassis number
- Additional Information:
You will also need to provide personal details such as your name, address, mobile number, email ID, etc. - Booking Options:
After filling the required information, you will be given two options:- Self-Collection: Pick up from the designated agency.
- Home Delivery (If Available): Choose home delivery of the HSRP.
- Payment:
After completing the booking, make the payment online and print the receipt for future reference.

HSRP booking is currently available in most Indian states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Haryana. Visit the respective state websites for complete details.
